May Entry: Tamela, Take Me to the King With You
life is life-ing, but God is good, check your friend circle, modest summer outfit inspo because you can still be sexy for Jesus
Thoughts from the CEO:
Whenever I’m around my family I will randomly, and jokingly, start singing Take Me to the King by Tamela Mann. The first line eats, and encompasses everything I feel. “Truth is I’m tieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed.” The respond I get? “Nia, shut up”. But y’all, I really be tired.
It’s been a long month. I’ve been back and forth to North Carolina because of family things. It’s been a lot, and my body needs a minute to catch back up to reality. But, like always, I’m here! I’m starting to think that may not be a flex, though. When my body is having the urge to have 10 rotting days in bed I should grant it’s desire, right? Idk, but I’ll be clocking out at noon today.
Anyways, I hope y’all are a little more perky than I am. May you look good, feel good, and live good. We’re going to keep all this short because I’m ready to get back in my bed. On another note, it’s giving this newsletter will always be coming out at the end of the month. It’s making the most sense in my mind, so continue to look forward to your inbox being blessed at the last drop.
Love you guys <3.
Updates:
DSTURB will be coming out next month (prayerfully):
Thank you to all who submitted to my zine! I’ll love you always. The goal is to have the magazine available sometime this summer. Really it’s June, because I feel like God told me June. And now that I’ve started to put together the pieces, and I feel like I know why He wants me to do it in June, I will be doing everything I can to stick to that deadline. This first issue is going to be a cute, short little sampler for the girls, just so you know what to expect from DSTURB in the future. She’ll be small, but mighty!
Paid Post Haven’t Gone Anywhere:
I have been slacking this month on my subscription posts. I can explain. I’M TIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED. But June, I will be back on my pivot. Y’all just pray the Lord gives me strength (are we loving church auntie Nia????? I think she’s a vibe).

6 Toxic Traits: If you love putting people on the block list, like I do, put them through this 6 toxic traits test. If they have them, they gotta go.

The songs I’ve had on repeat recently. Featuring, of course, the star of this post. TRUTH IS IM TIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED.
